During my 2 years of research, I explored and experimented with a variety of brainwave entrainment (BWE) audio offerings.

This means that you don’t have to spend the time, or effort, to do so, or to incur the cost of doing so.

Perhaps even more importantly, you don’t have to subject yourself to the potential harm or damage from some potentially dubious or malicious supplier – this is, after all, being played directly to your subconscious brain.

Unfortunately, not all BWE programs are of the same quality, or meet the same standards, so for your own safety it is very important that you are certain of what exactly your subconscious brain is being exposed to.

The BWE audio program that I found works the best for me, and the program I use every day, is the Zen12 meditation program, which comes from the well-established and reputable UK-based company Inspire3 Ltd.53

As the audio tracks are specially enhanced with advanced BWE frequencies and techniques, Inspire3 suggest that you only listen to them once a day, and not to listen to them while driving, or in charge of or operating machinery, or if you suffer from epilepsy (always check the product safety instructions before use and consult your physician).

I personally found the benefits of using the Zen12 program are more predictable and consistent than any other of the meditation options I researched and used, and the benefits are almost instant.

A Peaceful Place to sit and enjoy a guided meditation

My usual stress, worry and anxiety just melted away, and it leaves you feeling more relaxed, calmer, more focused, and generally much happier.

Zen12 has 12 distinct levels, from 1 to 12. With each higher level the BWE frequencies get lower and lower, helping you to access deeper and deeper states of meditation.

You reach the deeper state faster with each level, bringing with it therefore more benefits and better results with every new higher level.

Each level is designed in such a way for you to listen daily for around a month, before you move on to the next level.

However, if you are experienced in meditation you might typically start at level 7 and see what results you achieve.

If you are not getting the full benefit at that level, then simply drop back to a lower level, say level 5, and see how you manage with this for a week. Then advance to the next level if you feel you are ready to do so, or select the next level down if you have any uncertainties.

It takes you gently down from your natural Beta brainwave (starting) state down to a 10 Hz Alpha brainwave frequency, which is associated with mood elevation, serotonin release, and pain control.

These flavors are the Relaxation Mix (a soothing spa-like background music), the Sounds of Nature (countryside sounds and babbling brooks), the White Noise (a sort of fuzzy sound that blocks out background distractions), and finally a guided meditation mix.

The guided meditation mix has a brief spoken introduction at the very start of the track, has a relaxing audio backdrop, then ends the track with a spoken 5 to 1 countdown.

....the advantage that you won’t have to set a timer to ensure you don’t overrun your session, which is very helpful when you are on a very tight or busy work, or life, schedule.

You just listen to the flavor you prefer, or that suits your circumstances or your situation at that particular moment, or just simply do what I almost always do and use the guided meditation option, or flavor, since this sets the scene and manages your session’s start and completion.

When your meditation session has finished, you will be in a serene, calm, and relaxed state, which will continue to exist for some time afterward.

Your mind continues to work at its most optimum, providing you with enhanced focus, creativity, and productivity.

For me, it simply doesn’t get any simpler or easier than this – to experience a full one hour’s worth of deep meditation, all in 12 minutes, with a proven level of ease and consistency.
